Become a Mentee

Join us and make a difference

As a mentee, your goal is to discover what you need to thrive. In the aftermath of such a traumatic experience, the presence of a caring and understanding mentor can serve as a lifeline, offering tools and insights to overcome challenges. The journey toward healing is not just about surviving; it is about reclaiming your sense of self and rebuilding a life filled with purpose and fulfillment.

Your role is remarkably straightforward: to uncover what you need to take control of your journey, seize it, and become empowered. Through this relationship, survivors can gain valuable insights into their own resilience and strength, as well as develop coping strategies for their journey towards recovery.

Mentee Eligibility:

  • Be 18 years of age or older

  • Pass a background check (includes military history. Those dishonorably discharged are not eligible for our programs)

  • Pass a competency self-assessment test

  • Commit to at least 6 months in the program

  • Live in San Diego County

  • Trauma greater than 6 months
